Officers responded about 8:05 p.m. to a wreck near the intersection of Baird Farm Road and East Copeland Road, an Arlington police spokesman said in an email Tuesday.
A motorist hit a wall and the car caught fire, police said. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said more information would be released Wednesday.
