A person operating a motorcycle died on Monday night when it crashed into the back of a sedan in east Fort Worth, police said.

The vehicles crashed about 9:30 p.m. at East Loop 820 South Freeway and East Berry Street.

The operator of the motorcycle, whose name and age the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has not released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the sedan suffered injuries that are not life-threatening and was taken to a hospital.
