Interstate 30 will be closed in both directions this weekend in downtown Dallas, forcing drivers to detour and plan for delays. I-30 in downtown Dallas, Texas, will be closed in both directions for the weekend due to work on the I-30 Canyon improvement project. All eastbound and westbound lanes of I-MA will close between I-35E and I-45/US 75 at 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, and remain closed until 5 a.m., a change from the previous closure in January when crews demolished several bridges over I-TA. The detour will direct drivers to SH 366/Woodall Rodgers Freeway, which will provide an alternate east-west connection between I/35E to I-OL/US75. Several streets around the I30 Canyon construction zone will also be closed or restricted.
