Mike Tyson has warned Jake Paul that he's in for a tough bout unless he follows the boxing veteran's advice in a 'scary' new video. Tyson, known as 'Iron Mike', is gearing up for an upcoming match against Paul, which is set to take place on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, shown live on Netflix.

Though Tyson hasn't had a professional fight for almost 20 years, with his last match being an exhibition against Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020, the video shows he has seemingly maintained his reputation for knockout power.

The former heavyweight champion has started his training regime well in advance and even shared a throwback boxing video, cautioning Paul with the words: "Once I have you in a corner, it's game over", urging him to avoid the ropes during their bout

Paul, who transitioned from YouTube fame to professional boxing, has been taking on lesser-known fighters recently, knocking out both Andre August and Ryan Bourland. His decision to face Tyson, a legendary figure in the sport, has drawn criticism from boxing enthusiasts.

In the upcoming fight, Paul will be 30 years younger than Tyson. However, before stepping into the ring, 57-year-old Tyson must pass a series of health checks to get the green light from the local commission.

While Tyson's last opponent attests to his formidable punching power, Paul seems skeptical, wondering if Tyson's ferocious strength is merely a legend.

"I want to see how hard he hits. Mike, I really want to see, bro. Let's see all the legends, the myths, because you're Iron Mike Tyson, but I have an iron chin, people know that. I take shots. I think people are underestimating me being able to deal with his power, and that's something that's going to make it interesting," Paul said on his podcast.

"I am biting off a lot. This is definitely the toughest, most savage, lethal opponent regardless of age, because the power is the last thing to go. The reaction and reception of it is insane. I almost can't even believe it, so very surreal and very, very grateful for all of that. We're going to see. I'm excited. I literally can't wait to look across the ring and see him and give him a f****** death stare."
