This 1¼-pound bacon double cheeseburger is a Father’s Day special in Fort Worth
Dad can eat big on Father’s Day. Father's Day specials include free chicken or burgers at Austin-based Pluckers Wing Bar, where members of its “club” memberships receive a gift $16 lunch or dinner. Black Bear, a new restaurant in Tarrant County, offers the Big Daddy Burger, a special every June for 20 ounces of beef, plus cheese, onion rings, bacon and a sunny-side-up egg, at Black Bear. Plucker Wing Bar offers free food with a member of its "club" member, with the limit being $16 per entree, side and drink. The "Fire in the Hole" challenge involves eating 15 Carolina Reaper wings in 15 minutes, costing $25. Other notable Father's Day deals include a $65 buffet at Cafe Modern, a $100 menu at Cut & Bourbon in Live! by Loews — Arlington, and a special $100 at the Loews.

Black Bear is a chain diner, but all the food is bumped up a couple of sizes.
It’s best known for the long lines for its popular breakfasts. But go early.
It opens each day at 6, but there’s a line most days by 7. Or wait and go before it closes at 10 p.m.
At Pluckers Wing Bar, which has locations in north and south Fort Worth, Arlington and Grapevine, Dad eats free with a Pluckers “club” member.
The limit is a $16 entree, side and drink. But that’s enough for a burger, cheesesteak or wings platter.
For the brave, try the “Fire in the Hole” challenge: Eat 15 of Pluckers’ hottest Carolina Reaper wings in 15 minutes and get special recognition. That’ll cost $25.
