After passing the bar, I opened my office. I worked on all legal matters and was attracted to crime defense. I have protected everything from traffic tickets to bank robberies and child molestation. My college career was chemistry and biology, but my degree was history. In the late 1980s, since respiratory tests began to become big in the DWI case, I observed as many tests as I was interested in science behind them. I was curious, and wanted to learn as much as possible. At that time, there were only a few DWI education courses in Texas, so I went to Georgia and took a course there. So I met my best friend and started the National DUI Defense University with a class at Harvard Law School. He also started a nationwide introduction service for Internet DWI in cooperation with William Head of Atlanta. Since 1997, I have been only protecting the DWI.
