He paid money to a heavy retainer to represent his affairs with the bank. The retention contract does not require a non-refundable amount, but was applied when the service was provided. The situation changed and I no longer needed him, he agreed to refund the difference after adjusting the account. I haven't heard from him even though I've sent him emails many times in six years. I couldn't charge the amount financially. If you pay him advance, be careful of anything.
