In the 1990s, after working as a probation officer, a poisoning counselor, and a prison worker, Shawn Story finished his internship with the Public Defender's office in Dallas County, and in 1998, passed Texas Bar Exam and established Shawn Story PLC. Since then, he has represented customers with various interests, mainly in the area of crime and family law.

I was born in Richardson, Texas, but in western Texas, I have a family ' I grew up near the ranch. My grandfather and uncle have an oil company, and their philosophy is to work hard, and succeed if you are fair and honest with people. When I graduated from high school, I went to college in Dallas and studied politics, international politics, history and psychology. After thinking about the Department of State's work and studying psychology, I decided to stay with my young family in Dallas. I eventually became a lawyer. I spent a short time in Washington, working in Ralph Hall, a Congressman in 2002, and two political movements in Iowa and Georgia. I went back to Dallas, where I was a prosecutor for a while, and then returned to my private company.
