Renewable energy firm Leeward grows headquarters in Dallas

With a large pipeline of projects, Leeward Renewable Energy is getting its Dallas headquarters office just right to ready itself for growth. Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) is expanding its Dallas headquarters to nearly 34,000 square feet. The company, which has 31 wind, solar, and energy storage facilities across the U.S. and plans to have 400 employees in the area by 2024. LRE has also grown its lease at Energy Square 3 within the five-building, 1.1 million-square-foot Energy Square campus on North Central Expressway. The firm has regional offices in Houston and Chicago and expects to have around 400 employees by the end of 2024.

Leeward Renewable Energy LLC is expanding its Dallas headquarters to keep up with the company’s fast growth.

It has 31 wind, solar, and energy storage facilities across the U.S., the equivalent of about 3 gigawatts of generating capacity. Its pipeline under development includes about 30 GW spanning 125 projects. A handful of Leeward’s developments are under construction or already operational in Texas.

LRE has grown its lease to nearly 34,000 square feet at Energy Square 3 within the five-building, 1.1 million-square-foot Energy Square campus on North Central Expressway.

The company, which has regional offices in Houston and Chicago, has 340 total employees, with 135 in the Dallas area. It expects to have 400 at the end of 2024.
