DALLAS — It was a cool start to the week, but temps are now warming quickly as we head into Easter Weekend. Here are the latest forecast updates for this week.

Thursday was off to a cool start with morning lows in the 40s. But things will turn around as the day goes on, with highs in the 70s for the afternoon.

Sunshine and southerly winds will stick around through the end of the week, and temps will be close to normal for this time of the year.

While winds will be calm Thursday, breezes will pick up this weekend, keeping pollen levels elevated. High counts of Oak, Maple and Hackberry pollen are currently reported across North Texas.

It'll be a picture perfect day for Rangers baseball! Leading up to the game's 6:30 p.m. start, we'll see sunshine and light winds.

Expect temps to be in the 70s as fans make their way to Globe Life Field. Temps will be in the upper 60s for first pitch.

Clear skies and low humidity will continue from there as the World Champions look to kick off a great season!

Temps will quickly warm through Easter Weekend across North Texas. 70s will be around late week with 80s in the forecast for the weekend.

Overall, Easter Weekend is looking dry, warm and breezy. We'll see a few clouds Friday, partly cloudy skies Saturday and a mostly cloudy sky Sunday.

The next best chance for rain will be Monday and Monday night. Also, the Solar Eclipse is less than two weeks away -- but its forecast could feature some rain. We'll keep you posted!
